Atticus Finch

I have finally taken the time to write my first post (with a little prompting from Sharon). I wanted my first post to say so many things; why I am blogging, who I am, what and who I love but life happens and in order to get my first post out, this one will be short and sweet. Two things I love are my family (Steve and the fellas Elijah, Levi and Luke) and Reading. Thus my name, Atticus Finch, a character from the classic book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. One of the greatest reads of all times. Atticus' character is one that I would aspire to be like. The quote I used from the book sums up why I would want to join the blog scene. It is a way to get to know other people. To walk around in someone shoes and try to understand their perspective, thoughts, ideas. We talk and say many things but we write and share our souls. So this is a little preview of me. Can't wait to share more of me and learn more about you.
